Overview
You can use Skype and other calling and chatting apps and messengers over HughesNet, but if you want your own phone number and as close to Landline Quality as you can get, then you will probably want to sign up for HughesNet Voice Services.
Important 911 Notice
ISPSAT/HughesNet systems are most commonly used in portable & temporary situations and scenarios. Because of that, 911 service is not normally available with HughesNet Voice Services by default. In order to obtain 911 services & features, you must be using the system and service at a permanent location and submit a request to the service provider with your physical address to have that feature/option added and enabled on your account.
