Unable to Access HughesNet Satellite Modem Home Page

A recent issue was discovered where some computers have issues accessing local IP addresses such as the ones used by HughesNet Systems, 192.168.0.1 and ones used by routers such as 192.168.1.1 and more!

Once you have made sure that you are connected to the same network of the device you are trying access you might get an error such as this one:

SAMPLE IMAGE COMING SOON!

This is your browser trying to protect you from harmful sites, and you may have to reset your browser settings in order to restore access to local IP addresses!

Here is one of the fixes mentioned for Chrome Browsers:

With older versions of Chrome: Enter “chrome://flags” into your address bar of the Chrome browser and hit enter!
Look for the “Built-in Asynchronous DNS” and set it to “Disabled” and restart the browser.

For newer versions of Chrome:  Under “chrome://flags”, just chose “Reset all settings to default” and it should start working again.

If that doesn’t work, try power cycling all devices and try again!
If that still doesn’t work, you might want to try a different device or try a hard-wire connection or a different ethernet cable!

If you have any questions about these or other issues, feel free to contact us.
