There are currently two main shapes of Starlink antennas: round and rectangular.
The first generation of Starlink Antennas that were introduced in October of 2020, were round antennas that are still in use in many areas today and are still being shipped to Canada, Ukraine, and other parts of the World. The newest Starlink Antennas are rectangular and currently used in the US and other areas for residential, RV, and commercial applications and services. If you’re in the USA and ordered or have had your Starlink Antenna since before November of 2021, it’s likely one of the first generation round Starlink Antennas. If you are in the USA and ordered after November of 2021, you likely received or will receive the rectangular Starlink Antenna. Lone Pine Technology offers heavy-duty adapters for both round and rectangular antennas.

Choosing the Right Adapter for Your Needs
- Antenna Shape: Determine if you have or are going to receive a round or rectangular Starlink antenna, as this will dictate which adapter model you require (QADAPT-V1 & QADAPT-V1L for round, QADAPT-V2 or QADAPT=V2L for rectangular).
- Pipe Size: Identify the outer diameter (OD) of the pipe, pole, mount, or mast you plan to use for your installation. Our adapters are designed to accommodate two different size ranges: 1 1/2″ OD – 2 3/8″ OD and 2 7/8″ OD – 3″ OD. Choose the corresponding adapter based on the size of your pipe (QADAPT-V1 or QADAPT-V2 for 1 1/2″ OD – 2 3/8″ OD, and QADAPT-V1L or QADAPT-V2L for 2 7/8″ OD – 3″ OD).
